Continuing Conversations Between Cat and Bird (2008-2010)
The Cat and Bird series consists of over 80 collages and a set of 100 comics (daily from March - June 2008). In these narratives, Cat and Bird discuss their inability to have a successful and functional relationship with each other. Cat and Bird discuss their future, break up, get back together, have serious conversation, shoot the shit – all while flying through space or sitting at the dinner table. Sometimes, Bird struggles with her art career. At times Cat and Bird forgive one another for their inability to be kind to one another.
Bird asks the questions that we all want to know the answers to. Cat uses brutal honesty to illustrate the point. Can and Bird tell it like it is.
